Our Journey, Our Voices Our Future THE CHILDREN’S PARLIAMENT & An Dealbh Mor The Big Picture

This features a dynamic, colourful 24 foot mural and 20 papier-mache models by children from Uist and Barra.

Based on the ambitions and aspirations of members of the “Children’s Parliament” of Uist and Barra to be writers, entertainers, chefs, pilots, sky-divers, marine biologists and even knights! It’s a riot of colour and imagination.

An Dealbh Mor is a similar project with kids from Skye, originally co-ordinated by artist Julie Brook at Sabhal Mor Ostaig. This contains, as the name suggest, a large drawing, a number of A1 works and a BBC film of the actual art performance.
