An Lanntair formed it's own record label in 1995 when the centre produced it's first commissioned CD as part of a project to celebrate the organisation's 10th Anniversary.
The recording, which accompanied a major touring exhibition and book, was based on the theme of the Callanish Stones on the Isle of Lewis - one of the oldest megalithic stone circles in the world.
Demand for the CD led to a re-press and the licensing of the recording to Spain and Portugal. The Calanais project won the Scottish Thistle Award for Excellence in 1995.
