I studied art at York and have spent the last 20 years gathering a wide variety of experience from portraiture to nightclub interiors. Now I'm exploring scotlands most beautiful remote places and wilderness landscapes. Mountains, moorland and coastal areas all appeal to me particularly where there is water to paint. Paintings in Oils are available from my website and commissions are welcome.
I now mostly work in textiles representing the colours and textures of the islands in fabric and thread. A variety of pieces are available through An Lanntair with cards and small pieces displayed in the shop. Other work is also available on the website.
The third element to my creative personality is that of "facilitator". I'm particularly interested in ways of bridging gaps in confidence and understanding... anything really which helps unlock an individuals creative potential.
